Sydney Real Estate Agent Josh Tesolin Faces New Allegations Amid Scandal and Business Expansion
December 4, 2025
The NSW Office of Fair Trading’s investigation—initiated in 2022—covers more than 100 allegations, including underquoting, dummy bidding, high-pressure sales tactics, and false documents, which led to an August licence suspension.
An analysis by The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age found widespread underquoting, with Tesolin’s pricing averaging 19% above guides across 400 tracked auctions and several sales far exceeding guide prices.
Josh Tesolin, a high-profile Sydney real estate agent, faces new allegations and is expected to receive a second suspension from NSW Fair Trading as early as this Friday.
Ray White terminated its franchise agreement with Tesolin and his Quakers Hill office; he subsequently relaunched under the NGU banner with Emil Juresic, while remaining involved with entities not suspended.
Tesolin launched Peak Mentoring, an online coaching business registered with his mother as co-director, aimed at teaching other agents to emulate his success.
The regulator’s forthcoming dossier includes claims of high-pressure sales tactics, an incentivised commission scheme, and ongoing involvement with his Quakers Hill agency in breach of prior suspension.
Tesolin’s recent business activity follows a period of controversy that included a four-month suspension and revelations of an incentivised commission scheme capable of dramatically boosting commissions in a single day.
Evidence shows Peak Mentoring charges range from about $2,000 for one-on-one coaching to $10,000 for full office training, with programs also offered to agents in other industries.
Tesolin and his wife have moved from Bella Vista to Rozelle, with multiple properties leased out and a backyard pool approved at a purchased park-side house.
