The Russo brothers plan to shoot the new Avengers films back-to-back in London, a significant challenge they are excited to undertake.

The announcement of the Avengers films, along with Robert Downey Jr.'s return as Doctor Doom, was made during last year's Comic-Con, following the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame.

Adding a light-hearted touch, Anthony Russo suggested that fans can imagine any character they wish to see in the films.

During the premiere of their upcoming film, The Electric State, in Los Angeles, filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo previewed two highly anticipated Marvel films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, which are set for release in 2026 and 2027.

These new Avengers films will see the Russo brothers reuniting with writer Steven McFeely, who has previously collaborated with Christopher Markus on earlier Marvel projects.

Joe Russo hinted at the potential for various characters to make appearances in the new movies, stating that 'anybody in the Marvel bag could show up'.

Despite the excitement, Russo expressed uncertainty about specific character appearances, including possible tie-ins with the X-Men universe or Deadpool, saying, 'Who knows? I don’t know who we’re gonna see.'
