The award ceremony was held at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, emphasizing Selena's enduring legacy and her dedication to improving the lives of children.

The plaque specifically honors her groundbreaking album 'Dreaming of You,' which has achieved a remarkable 62x Platino certification, the highest ever for a Latin album.

Selena's album 'Entre A Mi Mundo' holds historical significance as the first Tejano album by a female artist to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart.

In celebration of her legacy, 'Entre A Mi Mundo,' featuring the iconic hit 'Como La Flor,' will be released on vinyl for the first time on April 25, 2025, complete with remastered audio and updated artwork.

To further honor Selena, her family, in collaboration with St. Jude, will launch a campaign on April 25, inviting fans to become monthly donors, who will receive an exclusive tribute t-shirt.

RIAA Senior Vice President Rafael Fernandez Jr. expressed gratitude towards Universal Music Latino and Selena's family for their efforts in honoring her memory and supporting charitable initiatives.
