Built on billions of motion data points from various physically demanding industries, Exia can contextually adjust its assistance to enhance user performance.
The exoskeleton features an Adaptive Lift Engine for personalized support, a Smart Safety Companion for monitoring high-risk movements, and the German Bionic Connect App for performance analytics.
This connected app allows users to control settings, access analytics, and receive gamified coaching, while a cloud analytics platform offers ergonomic insights.
Exia aims to address significant industry challenges, including the high costs of musculoskeletal injuries, which average over $67,000 per claim in the U.S.
By improving job sustainability, Exia is positioned to help mitigate projected labor shortages, including a potential deficit of 1.9 million manufacturing workers in the U.S. by 2033.
