Urgent: 8-Year-Old J’Adore Frazier Abducted in Chicago by Father, Police Seek Public's Help

An 8-year-old boy named J’Adore Frazier was abducted from his grandparents' home in the Brainerd neighborhood of Chicago on June 6, 2025.
J’Adore's legal guardians are his grandparents, and he was taken around 4 p.m. by his father, Christopher Upshaw.
The incident occurred specifically at the 9000 block of South Aberdeen Street.
Christopher Upshaw, the suspect, is a 43-year-old African-American male, described as standing 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Upshaw is believed to be driving a beige Cadillac sedan with dark tints and black rims.
At the time of his disappearance, J’Adore was wearing a beige sweat suit and black sneakers, and he is described as weighing 60 pounds and standing 3 feet 8 inches tall.
Police have released a photo of a similar vehicle and are actively seeking information regarding both J’Adore and Upshaw.
The Chicago Police Department is urging anyone with information about J’Adore's whereabouts to call 911 or contact Area Two Detectives at 312-747-8274.
Authorities believe that J’Adore and his father may still be traveling in the beige Cadillac sedan.
