These new tools are expected to be available to customers by the end of 2025, which will coincide with the general availability of other features.

The expansion of Workday's APIs allows for the integration of AI features directly into applications, enabling users to interact using natural language for AI-generated responses.

The new offerings leverage Workday Illuminate, the company's AI platform that analyzes over one trillion HR and financial transactions annually to improve business operations.

Looking ahead, Workday projects stable growth for fiscal year 2026, with a subscription revenue outlook of approximately $8.8 billion and total revenue of $9.5 billion.

Analysts have adjusted their price targets for Workday, reflecting the company's AI momentum as a key growth driver, with targets ranging from $275 to $300.

Despite reporting a 12.6% year-over-year revenue increase in its fiscal Q1 2026 results, Workday's stock experienced a decline due to a conservative outlook for the second quarter.

The newly established Agent Partner Network will enable partners like Accenture, IBM, and Microsoft to list their AI agents on the Workday Marketplace, providing businesses with tailored solutions.
