T-Pain is set to receive the BMI President’s Award for his influential music career, while GloRilla will be honored with the BMI Impact Award for her significant contributions to hip-hop.

The awards ceremony will take place on August 28, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA, celebrating the top R&B/Hip-Hop songs, songwriters, producers, and publishers from the past year.

GloRilla rose to fame with her hit single 'FNF (Let’s Go)' in 2022, subsequently signing with Yo Gotti’s CMG label and achieving multiple top 30 hits on the Hot 100 in 2024.

Despite her rapid rise, GloRilla faced challenges, including an arrest on drug charges, from which she was released on bond the same day, and she was also a victim of a home invasion related to the incident.

Her debut album, released in 2024, garnered notable success, establishing her as one of the fastest rising stars in the hip-hop scene.

Recently, GloRilla celebrated her 26th birthday on July 28, 2025, and hosted her inaugural 'Glo Bash' event just days prior on July 25, 2025.

In a notable collaboration, T-Pain and GloRilla worked together on the track 'I LUV HER' from GloRilla's debut album, 'GLORIOUS.'

T-Pain has recently attracted attention for sharing a nostalgic video from 2008, showcasing the moment he created the iconic lyrics 'mansion' and 'Wisconsin' for his hit song 'Can’t Believe It,' featuring Lil Wayne.

Beyond his music career, T-Pain is also a Twitch streamer and manages several successful businesses under Nappy Boy Entertainment.

The BMI event will be hosted by BMI President/CEO Mike O’Neill, Executive Vice President Mike Steinberg, and Vice President Catherine Brewton.
