Klaudia Mitura, a 34-year-old cyclist from Poland living in Manchester, was pushed into a canal by a dog walker during her commute, leading to severe trauma that has prevented her from cycling since the incident.

The incident occurred on July 19, 2025, when Klaudia was confronted by a couple walking their dog, who accused her of riding too fast along a canal path.

Footage from Klaudia's bike camera captures the moment the man angrily shouted at her to 'slow down' before physically pushing her into the water.

Klaudia, who cannot swim, struggled to escape as she was strapped to her bike pedals, fearing she would drown for approximately five minutes until a passer-by rescued her.

A good Samaritan helped Klaudia call the police after her phone was damaged from the water, and officers are currently investigating the incident, though no arrests have been made.

Greater Manchester Police are actively looking into the matter but have yet to make any arrests.

Klaudia shared the video of the incident on TikTok, which has since garnered over 600,000 views, highlighting the public's condemnation of the assault.
