The Property Masters Guild hosted its second annual MacGuffin Awards at Paramount Theater in Hollywood, celebrating excellence in prop mastery across film and television.

The awards honored projects such as 'Dune: Part Two,' 'Severance,' and 'The Studio,' highlighting the vital role of property masters in creating immersive worlds.

Presented by the Property Masters Guild, the MacGuffin Awards emphasized the importance of props and property masters in storytelling, recognizing their craftsmanship in both TV and film.

Awards were given in various categories, including 'Heretic' for Contemporary Feature Film, 'A Complete Unknown' for Period Feature Film, and 'Dune: Part Two' for Fantasy/Science Fiction, showcasing diverse achievements.

In television, winners included 'Severance' for One-Hour Contemporary Series, 'Shōgun' for One-Hour Period Series, and 'Fallout' for Fantasy/Science Fiction Series.

Additional awards recognized work on projects like 'The Studio,' 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,' and a music video featuring Taylor Swift and Post Malone.

Dean Eilertson was honored for his work on FX's 'Shōgun' Season 1, while Jortner received recognition for recreating 1960s New York City in 'A Complete Unknown.'

Andrew M. Siegel, property master for 'The Studio,' won an award for Season 1 of the Half-Hour Single-Camera Television Series.

Chuck McSorley received the Humanitarian Award for his contributions to acclaimed projects like 'Edward Scissorhands' and 'Freaks and Geeks.'

The event also honored the inaugural President’s Award, which was presented to Alfonso Ramirez for his contributions outside the property master role, and the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Dennis J. Parrish for a career spanning five decades.

PMG President Jeffrey Johnson highlighted the guild’s mission to elevate property masters and acknowledged the event's growth in its second year.

Industry figures and artists attended the ceremony, emphasizing the craft of prop masters and their essential role in storytelling and production quality.
