Welsh rock band Super Furry Animals announced their first tour in nearly nine years, scheduled for May 2026, marking their return to live performances since December 2016.

Known for their dynamic live shows, they once customized a tank for festival performances, which was later sold to Don Henley.

The tour will support their ongoing celebration of their discography, including a reissue of their 2005 album 'Love Kraft' on October 24, available in multiple formats with bonus tracks and previously unheard recordings.

The upcoming tour will feature a setlist blending joyful chaos and cosmic pop, with promises of unreleased music and energetic performances.

The 'Love Kraft' reissue includes four unreleased tracks, demos, updated artwork by Pete Fowler, and remastering by Donal Whelan, following a 2021 reissue of their 2001 album 'Rings Around the World'.

This reissue continues their series of album remasters, part of their effort to celebrate three decades of music, with previous releases including anniversary editions.

Their last album was 'Dark Days/Light Years' in 2009, and their most recent tour was in 2016 for the 20th anniversaries of 'Fuzzy Logic' and 'Radiator'.

Originally released in 2005, 'Love Kraft' was notable for all band members contributing and was named after a sex shop, referencing H.P. Lovecraft.

The band aims to deliver more than nostalgia, emphasizing new unreleased music, energetic performances, and a setlist that reflects their creative legacy.

Recorded in Spain with producer Mario Caldato Jr., 'Love Kraft' features a vibrant, harmony-rich sound that marked a departure from their Welsh roots.

The 'Love Kraft' reissue will include remastered original tracks, bonus demos, and alternate takes such as 'Zoom! (Stiwdio Ofn Demo)' and 'Psyclone! (Future Force).'
