Uttar Pradesh Unveils 'Deep Tech Bharat 2025' to Propel India as Global Tech Leader

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the state's focus on advancing deep technology through the 'Deep Tech Bharat 2025' initiative, aiming to position India as a global leader in emerging tech sectors like AI, quantum computing, and cybersecurity.
The event saw participation from major organizations including DRDO, ISRO, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and over 200 venture capital firms, highlighting the significance of India's tech ambitions.
Adityanath praised IIT Kanpur's role in technological innovations such as drone technology and highlighted Uttar Pradesh's remarkable economic turnaround over the past eight years, transforming from a 'sick state' to the country's second-largest economy.
The government has expanded cyber police stations across all 75 districts and established a State Cyber and Forensic Institute, with plans to strengthen cybersecurity further through collaboration with IIT Kanpur.
He stressed that cooperation in technology extends beyond research to directly improve citizens' living standards, address global challenges, and promote sustainability.
