Telangana’s chief minister framed the partnership as a cornerstone of the Telangana Rising vision, aiming to position the state as a premier AI data-center hub with a long-term goal of about USD 3 trillion in economic growth over the next two decades.

The government’s plan underscores AI, data centers, quantum computing, hardware, and automation as priorities within a broader trajectory toward $3 trillion in growth.

Upon signing the MoU, the chief minister reiterated Telangana’s ambition to become an AI data-center hub as part of the two-decade growth target and to advance AI, data centers, quantum computing, hardware, and automation.

At Davos during the World Economic Forum 2026, Telangana and Blaize, a California-based AI hardware and software company, signed an MoU to accelerate electronics, semiconductors, and AI growth in Telangana, with a focus on expanding Blaize’s R&D presence in Hyderabad.

The discussions also explored piloting AI use cases across sectors such as healthcare diagnostics, manufacturing automation, and energy efficiency.

Telangana AI Innovation Hub, described as a strategic nerve center for AI, was highlighted as driving investments, research, and innovation to position Hyderabad as a leading global AI destination.
