Generali approved the merger by incorporation of Alleanza Assicurazioni into Generali Italia as part of its Italy country strategy to streamline the group’s structure.

The move is designed to strengthen the Group’s integration capabilities to drive growth and create value for stakeholders.

Completion of the merger is expected in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory authorizations from IVASS and other legal prerequisites.

Alleanza’s brand, identity, and distribution network will be preserved within Generali Italia, while Generali Tranquilidade continues to operate in Portugal.
