Police in Shepparton and Mooroopna, Victoria cracked down on a methylamphetamine trafficking syndicate, leading to multiple arrests and charges as part of a year-long pattern of weekly drug arrests in the region.

All six main suspects have been bailed to appear in court later this year, with the investigation continuing.

Twelve people were arrested in the operation, with six charged with drug trafficking or cultivation and five more facing drug possession or weapon charges; one person was interviewed and released pending further inquiries.

Warrants led to the arrest of at least 12 individuals during the latest operation, with ongoing investigations.

Authorities recovered weapons, including a machete and knuckledusters, along with a suspected stolen Toyota LandCruiser and a motorbike.
