Forwards Festival 2026 in Bristol has announced its August 29–30 lineup, with Clifton Downs as the venue.

Sunday headliners include Amyl and the Sniffers, Little Simz, and Dijon, alongside other acts like Viagra Boys, Oklou, Jim Legxacy, and Princess Nokia in a diverse finale slot.

Saturday headliners feature Tems, Wet Leg, and Dijon, with Joy Crookes, Tricky, Goldie live, and special performances from Paraorchestra presenting Kraftwerk RE: WERK, plus Maribou State as guests.

The festival emphasizes a broader program beyond music, with the Information stage returning for debates and culture discussions across its two days.

Confirmed repeat appearances include Amyl And The Sniffers and Little Simz, both highlighted as headline acts returning to the festival.

Past headliners in 2025 included Barry Can't Swim, Ezra Collective, Jorja Smith, and The Last Dinner Party, underscoring the festival’s evolving roster.

Other announced acts spanning genres include Wet Leg, Self Esteem, Tems, Joy Crookes, Tricky, Goldie, and several additional performers for a varied lineup.

The organizers, led by the team behind Coachella and BST Hyde Park, describe the festival as a two-day inner-city event with a diverse, cross-genre slate.

Amyl And The Sniffers recently toured actively, with Cartoon Darkness released in 2024, adding context to their 2026 Bristol appearance.

A one-off festival-related show was announced featuring Lorde and Djo headlining at Clifton Downs, with supporting acts.
