Visa and TikTok Launch UK Creator Card for Faster Earnings Access
April 21, 2026
Visa and TikTok have launched a UK creator card and business account to help content creators access earnings from TikTok Live, brand partnerships, and platform payouts faster.
TikTok Live UK, Ireland, and Baltics head Paula D’Urbano says the product turns rewards into sustainable careers by improving reward management for creators.
The product accelerates cash flow by enabling quicker access to income and supporting spend, planning, and reinvestment without payout delays.
After a soft rollout, the card is being expanded to more users to bolster financial tooling for creators.
The collaboration is framed as empowering creators with better financial tools to convert online engagement into sustainable income by managing rewards more effectively.
Lucy Demery, SVP of Visa Commercial Solutions Europe, says the product enables faster access to income so creators can spend, plan, and reinvest in their businesses, notably by turning Live-purchased virtual gifts into cash faster.
Demery highlights that the card is designed to empower digital economy entrepreneurs with quicker access to earnings.
The broader survey gathered professional creators across multiple platforms between March and June to understand payment challenges.
A Censuswide survey of 1,000 UK professional content creators found that 49% experience late or inconsistent payments and 41% have turned down opportunities due to cash flow issues, underscoring the need for faster payout solutions.
A Visa-commissioned Censuswide survey similarly found that 49% face late or inconsistent payments and 41% decline opportunities, highlighting the demand for quicker access to funds.
The initiative follows a successful soft launch and is now being rolled out broadly across the United Kingdom to support the growing creator economy.
