The show profiles Kerridge as a traveling culinary host, following his prior series such as Kerridge Cooks Britain and Kerridge Cooks Spain, and building on his reputation from The Hand and Flowers and The Coach.

The program continues Kerridge’s travel-led format, tracing the same vein as Food Britain and Food Spain, with a focus on regional produce and cooking.

In each episode, Kerridge creates a recipe using locally sourced ingredients, highlighting how Italian produce inspires approachable, home-friendly dishes.

He runs two Michelin-starred restaurants, The Hand and Flowers and The Coach in Marlow, underscoring his status in the culinary world.

Locations featured include Sicily, Calabria, Puglia, the Northern Dolomites, and Emilia-Romagna, spotlighting items such as pasta, blood oranges, Calabrian chilis, passata, truffles, and chestnuts.

The series will premieres on ITV and ITVX in mid-July and comprises six 30-minute episodes.
