The Rock the Bells Festival will headline LL Cool J, SWV, Lil’ Kim, and Method Man & Redman at the Prudential Center in Newark over Thanksgiving weekend, with November 29 as the event date.

Exclusive presale windows begin August 18 and general on-sale starts August 21 via Ticketmaster, with multiple presale tracks and defined timing for each phase.

The festival runs during Hip-Hop History Month and is designed to be a chest-pounding celebration of the genre’s enduring impact rather than a lecture.

Ticket links are available through Vivid Seats and Ticketmaster, and fans are encouraged to sign up on the festival website for updates.

The event emphasizes community impact and holiday-season giving, with a Home for the Holidays initiative and opportunities to support the local community, with details to be announced.

The festival is subtitled “The Culture. Home for the Holidays,” underscoring its focus on holiday-season community giving.

A Home for the Holidays/community initiative will offer opportunities to support the local community, with further details forthcoming.

More performers will be announced in the coming weeks, continuing last year’s trend of high-profile reunions.

Additional acts are expected to be revealed before the event, building on notable reunions from prior years.

Expect ongoing announcements of new acts in the weeks ahead.

Okayplayer previously praised the 2025 edition as a transformative experience at the Prudential Center, setting positive expectations for this year.

The festival is framed as a holiday-season hip-hop event returning to the region, with more artists to be announced as the date approaches.
