Wyoming Boosts FRNT Token Transparency with Chainlink's Real-Time Reserve Verification
September 2, 2026
Wyoming is expanding Chainlink integration to its Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) to enable near-real-time on-chain reserve verification using Chainlink Proof of Reserve.
The commission adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve Secure Mint, requiring verified reserves to meet or exceed FRNT’s total supply before any new FRNT mints to prevent over-issuance.
The verification system will involve The Network Firm auditing FRNT’s reserves and supply under AICPA standards, with on-chain reserve data published in near real time by Chainlink Proof of Reserve.
Uncertainties include the live Secure Mint timeline, reserve composition details, and whether broader adoption will result beyond transparency headlines.
The move aims to close information gaps between reporting periods and bolster assurance for regulators, institutions, and market participants that FRNT remains fully backed.
Chainlink’s broader institutional push includes integrations across tokenized equities, stablecoin settlement, and traditional market infrastructure, such as pricing data for Coinbase’s B20 tokenized equities and involvement in Project Pangea for regulated euro- and won-denominated stablecoins.
The timing signals ongoing real-time reserve verification for public-sector digital assets, potentially shaping how issuers approach on-chain transparency and minting controls.
In May, Fidelity International launched a tokenized liquidity fund with Chainlink and Sygnum, and JPMorgan provides daily NAV data; Chainlink’s LINK token rose significantly over the prior month.
FRNT operates across multiple chains (Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Hedera, Optimism, Polygon, Solana) with efforts to standardize operations and improve reserve visibility.
Under Wyoming’s GENIUS Act framework, monthly reserve and supply disclosures and independent examinations exist; the new approach adds continuous, machine-readable reserve proof to bridge gaps between attestations.
Wyoming already publishes daily FRNT reserve attestations; the GENIUS Act requires monthly reserve composition and FRNT supply disclosures, with the new integration improving visibility between reporting periods.
The two-layer model combines The Network Firm’s reserve and supply examinations (AICPA standards) with Chainlink’s on-chain reserve verification, plus Secure Mint as a future mintgate.
