Calvin Harris set a Guinness World Record for the most attended single-artist DJ set at his February São Paulo pre-carnival show, drawing over 1.6 million people.

The crowd filled multiple city blocks and exceeded typical premier electronic festival attendance by more than tenfold on a single stage.

Following the record, Harris became the first electronic music artist to headline the main stage at Rock in Rio in Brazil.

The performance featured updated versions of Harris’s hits, including Sweet Nothing, Outside, This Is What You Came For, and Summer, along with other tracks and edits from his catalog.

Harris has additional shows planned globally, with club and festival appearances in Europe and North America confirmed through year-end.
