Google plans to invest $3 billion in a new data center campus in Indiana and expansions in Virginia, driven by increased demand for cloud computing and AI applications.

Amazon is similarly investing with $11 billion earmarked for new data centers in Indiana.

The Indiana data center campus will receive $2 billion from Google, while Virginia's existing sites will get a $1 billion investment for expansion.

Google has launched an AI Essentials course on Coursera, priced at $49 USD, to help professionals use AI to improve workplace productivity.

The AI Essentials course offers a certificate upon completion, involves around 15 hours of self-paced learning, and teaches skills including prompt engineering and responsible AI use.

A separate, free generative AI course is available for teachers, designed to assist in time-saving and lesson plan customization, which can be completed in about two hours.
