Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 16 series on September 10, 2024, maintaining its historical trend of September launches.

Despite the anticipation surrounding the launch, key features like Apple Intelligence will not be ready for the initial release.

The iPhone 16 series is expected to launch as scheduled, unlike the delayed iPhone 4S in 2011, which faced similar issues with unprepared features.

A notable addition to the iPhone 16 lineup is a new 'Capture' button designed to enhance camera functionality, allowing users to take photos and videos more intuitively.

This 'Capture' button will be located under the power key on the right edge of the device, complementing the existing Action button on the left side.

The iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to feature a battery capacity of 3,577mAh, while the Pro Max variant may have a capacity of 4,676mAh, although increased capacity does not guarantee longer battery life.

Analysts suggest that the features of Apple Intelligence have yet to demonstrate enough value to significantly boost iPhone sales.

The complete rollout of Apple Intelligence features is expected throughout 2024, with some not finalized until early 2025.

The initial versions of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia will launch without Apple Intelligence features, which are anticipated to debut in the 18.1 updates.

Key features in the iOS 18.1 beta include email summarization, Writing Tools similar to Grammarly, and phone-call recording summaries.

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has reported that Apple will not delay the hardware release of the iPhone 16 to align with the rollout of Apple Intelligence.
