Google has upgraded its AI Pro subscription to include 5TB of cloud storage across Gmail, Drive, and Google Photos, up from 2TB.

The storage expansion creates a notable gap between AI Pro and standalone Google One plans, which currently offer 2TB at a monthly price point of 650 rupees in India and remain separate from AI Pro.

AI Ultra remains available with 30TB and extra features for $250 per month, including YouTube Premium.

Rollout is underway, with subscribers likely to see the changes soon or within 24 hours of update.

Target users include journalists, developers, business professionals, content creators, students, and researchers who rely on AI for writing, research, coding, and daily tasks.

Subscribers gain access to advanced AI tools such as Gemini and Veo, enabling image generation and editing, Deep Research, and real-time capabilities via Gemini Live.

Gemini Code Assist and a Command Line Interface streamline coding, and Gemini integrates with Gmail and Google Docs to smooth workflows.
