The 2024-2025 season of Rattlestick Theater kicked off with the premiere of Ethan Lipton's 'We Are Your Robots', directed by Leigh Silverman.

This season also includes a successful run of the new musical 'We Are Your Robots', co-produced with Theatre for a New Audience.

Looking ahead, Rattlestick will present 'Two Sisters Find a Box of Lesbian Erotica in the Woods', running from March 28 to April 26, 2025, featuring Emma Horwitz and Bailey Williams.

In addition to its vibrant programming, Rattlestick Theater has embarked on a $4.5 million renovation of its West Village venue, which has been home to the theater since 1999.

The renovation aims to enhance accessibility with the installation of an elevator, new bathrooms, expanded dressing rooms, sound-proof flooring and windows, and a larger lobby and ticket counter.

This project is expected to be completed by spring 2026, transforming the theater into a more accessible space.

The redesign will create a flexible performance space that can accommodate various productions and increase the capacity for community events.

Artistic Director Will Davis expressed pride in the renovation's focus on accessibility and community engagement, emphasizing Rattlestick's nearly 30-year commitment to artistic freedom and empowerment.

Rattlestick has a rich history, having produced over 125 new plays and played a crucial role in launching the careers of notable playwrights like Martyna Majok and Heidi Schreck.
