The Tony Awards Administration Committee finalized eligibility decisions for the 2024/25 Broadway season during a meeting held on April 28, 2025.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by Cynthia Erivo and broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall.

'Floyd Collins' is also eligible for Best Revival of a Musical, with Jeremy Jordan nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.

'Cult of Love' will compete in the Best Play category, while 'Dead Outlaw' has Andrew Durand eligible for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical.

Key productions under consideration include 'Good Night, and Good Luck', 'BOOP! The Musical', 'The Last Five Years', and 'Floyd Collins'.

The eligibility cut-off date for productions was April 27, 2025, ensuring all eligible shows met the necessary requirements.

This meeting marked the final preparations for the 78th Annual Tony Awards, scheduled to take place on June 8, 2025.

'Stranger Things: The First Shadow' has received multiple eligibility considerations in various categories, including Best Play and Best Direction of a Play.

'Eureka Day' is eligible for Best Revival of a Play, with Jonathan Spector acknowledged as the author.

'The Last Five Years' is in the running for Best Revival of a Musical, with Jason Robert Brown considered for both Best Orchestrations and as a joint nominee with producers.
