A new production of Irving Berlin's classic musical Top Hat is set to begin performances on July 14, 2025, at the Chichester Festival Theatre, running through September 6, 2025.

This production is directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, a three-time Tony Award winner, and features a cast including Phillip Attmore as Jerry Travers and Lucy St. Louis as Dale Tremont.

Based on the 1935 film starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Top Hat was adapted for the stage by Matthew White and Howard Jacques, and has previously won multiple awards, including the Olivier Award for Best New Musical.

Audiences can expect dazzling choreography, lavish sets, and timeless Irving Berlin songs like Cheek to Cheek and Puttin' on the Ritz.

Following its run in Chichester, the show will tour across the UK, visiting cities such as Woking, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Nottingham, London, Canterbury, Liverpool, Cardiff, Sunderland, and Manchester.

Additional tour dates for 2026 have been confirmed in cities including Sheffield, Glasgow, Eastbourne, Southend-on-Sea, and Birmingham, with more locations likely to be added.
