LDK Productions has launched a new writers residency called the LDK Writers’ Residency @ CAM Studios, aimed at supporting playwrights and composers in developing original plays and musicals.

Three residencies will be awarded annually on a rolling basis, with applications accepted via email from interested playwrights and composers, allowing artists to dedicate uninterrupted time to their projects.

Each residency provides one full week of exclusive access to CAM Studios, a professional space used for rehearsals, readings, and development of new works, emphasizing focused creative time without public deadlines.

CAM Studios is a significant creative hub for the theater community, having hosted over 100 Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional productions, as well as readings and workshops.

The program aims to give writers the freedom and resources to explore their work without distraction or financial pressure, focusing solely on the creative process.

Applicants must submit a letter of intent, project history, team bios, current script draft, and demos if available, via email, with applications accepted on a rolling basis.
