Tim Omaji, also known as Timomatic, has transitioned from a music career to acclaimed stage performances in major productions like Tina and Moulin Rouge!, while Michelle Brasier is renowned for her comedy and TV roles.

Ben Hall, known for his roles in Neighbours and Les Misérables, stars as Edward Lewis, the role originally made famous by Richard Gere.

Samantha Jade, an Australian singer and actress, plays Vivian Ward, a role famously portrayed by Julia Roberts, and is recognized for winning X Factor Australia and her successful music career.

The story centers on Vivian's romantic journey with Edward, set in the late '80s, offering a fresh theatrical take on the iconic love story.

The musical, based on the 1990 film, features a rock score by Grammy winners Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, with direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell.

The Brisbane season opens at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) Lyric Theatre from October 5, 2025, followed by performances at Sydney’s Theatre Royal in November.
