The Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s Concert 2026 will be shown in cinemas across Asia on January 1, 2026, marking the first time the event is streamed live to cinemas in these regions.

Access to tickets for attending the concert in Vienna is granted through a selective online application process due to high demand, rather than direct sales.

As part of the cinema experience, attendees will receive welcome drinks and limited-edition commemorative items to enhance the event.

Traditionally held in Vienna’s Musikverein, the concert is broadcast to more than 150 countries and draws roughly 50 million viewers each year.
