Buckingham Palace's King’s Gallery is hosting the 'Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography' exhibition from May 17 to October 6.
The exhibition showcases over 160 vintage prints and previously unseen images from the Royal Collection and the Royal Archives.
Photographic works by Cecil Beaton and Nadav Kander are featured, alongside a tribute to female royal photographers.
The exhibition includes critiques of some royal portraits for lacking magic or authenticity.
