Renowned Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay is set to open the UK's first Hell's Kitchen restaurant in London at the Cumberland Hotel in spring 2026, marking a significant expansion of his global brand.

The new restaurant will feature signature dishes like Beef Wellington, Seared Scallops, and Lobster Risotto, along with desserts such as Sticky Toffee Pudding and Apple Butterscotch Cheesecake, complemented by a selection of cocktails and wines.

Designed to deliver an immersive dining experience, the restaurant will have an open kitchen that emphasizes theatre and performance as chefs prepare dishes, bringing the excitement of the TV show to life.

The venue, Smyth’s Corenucopia, aims to be a more relaxed alternative to her three-Michelin-starred Core in Notting Hill, offering a different dining atmosphere.

The Cumberland Hotel, known for hosting celebrities like Madonna and Lady Gaga, is part of the Clermont Hotel Group, which owns 14 hotels across London and operates multiple brands.

Clare Smyth is also planning to open Corenucopia, a luxury bistro in Chelsea, in November 2025 at the site of the former Tabisca Italian steakhouse, expanding her culinary ventures.

This launch of Hell’s Kitchen in London signifies the beginning of a multi-site partnership, following the first European Hell’s Kitchen opening in Ibiza in summer 2025.

Since debuting in Las Vegas in 2018, Hell’s Kitchen has expanded to eight locations across the US and Europe, serving over one million Beef Wellingtons, and this will be the brand’s first UK location.

The London opening aligns with Ramsay’s broader international expansion, including the flagship Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas and its European debut in Ibiza in June 2024.

The Cumberland Hotel, a cultural hub with 900 bedrooms and extensive event spaces, will host the new restaurant, with the hotel’s general manager expressing pride in bringing Ramsay’s iconic cuisine to guests.

The London Hell’s Kitchen will have a relaxed atmosphere, positioning it alongside Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen rather than his fine-dining establishments, appealing to a broad audience.

Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant group currently operates 34 UK restaurants and 63 internationally, holding a total of eight Michelin stars across its venues, including the renowned Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London.
