Police in Scotland announced a sweeping drug seizure described as one of the largest in the country, underscoring ongoing efforts to disrupt supply under the Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

Authorities characterized the operation as part of a series of major seizures and confirmed ongoing inquiries into the case.

Officials urged the public to help disrupt drug networks by reporting information through 101 or Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

In Glasgow, officers seized drugs valued at about £10 million from a warrant at Balintore Street, Shettleston, resulting in two arrests aged 43 and 22.

The two men have been charged in connection with the operation and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on the following Monday.

The raid recovered a large quantity of cocaine and heroin at the scene.
