Glasgow Central Station and Union Street Set to Fully Reopen Post-Fire Recovery

Glasgow Central Station and a section of Union Street are set to fully reopen by July 17 following a March fire that started in a vape shop on Union Street and caused a building collapse near Gordon Street.
Stabilisation work on a gable at the site is finished and scaffolding has been removed, clearing the remaining exclusion zone.
The facade of the B-listed Victorian building at Union Street and Gordon Street stayed standing but was demolished for safety reasons.
