The Journalists’ Charity, led by patron and royal figure, launches the Queen Camilla Future of Journalism Awards to support 25 young journalists annually with up to £2,500 each for training, equipment, travel, or accommodation, plus mentoring and coaching.

Winners will attend an exclusive ceremony with senior figures from the media industry, underscoring their promise and potential.

The initiative aligns with Camilla’s public image as an avid reader and founder of The Queen’s Reading Room, highlighting a commitment to reading, storytelling, and journalism during a pivotal time for the field.

Beyond financial support, recipients receive expert-led mentoring or coaching and ongoing charity backing.

Applications are open throughout August, with winners announced in September, and applicants must demonstrate commitment to journalism and how the award would impact their career.
