Jen Pawol is set to become MLB's first full-time female umpire, starting as a Triple-A crew chief.

Pawol made history by umpiring a spring training game, the first woman to do so since 2007.

Her career progression included NCAA softball, rookie ball, and ascending through the minor-league system.

Currently, MLB consists of 76 full-time umpires and occasionally utilizes call-up umpires.

She is among nine women expected to officiate in minor league games by 2024.

There is no established timeline for Pawol's official debut in the Major Leagues.
