In a disturbing incident, a babysitter confronted 27-year-old Martin Villalobos Jr. while trying to reassure a child that there was nothing under the bed, resulting in an altercation.

Villalobos, who had a history of domestic issues, was under a protection order that prohibited him from being near the residence.

Just ten days prior to this incident, court records revealed that he had been released on bond after facing charges for criminal threats, domestic battery, and violating a protection order.

These earlier charges stemmed from incidents that occurred in January and February 2025.

Following the altercation, law enforcement apprehended Villalobos after a foot chase, as he had been evading authorities since the incident.

He is currently being held at the Barton County Jail with a bond set at $500,000 on multiple charges, including aggravated kidnapping and violation of a protection from abuse order.
