The thefts included a notable incident in Broomall, PA, on July 25, where Greene and Heard stole approximately $751.98 worth of goods, including air conditioners and a pressure washer.

Authorities executed multiple search warrants, leading to the arrests of Jackson and Greene in Philadelphia and Heard in New Jersey, with Heard currently in the process of extradition back to Montgomery County.

During a raid on August 14, detectives seized about $10,000 worth of stolen merchandise, $2,000 in cash, and illegal drugs, resulting in Jackson and Greene's arrests and Heard's detention in New Jersey pending extradition.

District Attorney Kevin R. Steele emphasized that organized retail theft harms communities, affects store employees, and raises costs for consumers, with ongoing efforts to combat such crimes.

A coordinated retail theft ring involving three men—Balvin Greene, Terrell Jackson, and Kristopher Heard—was dismantled after stealing over $52,000 worth of appliances and tools from Home Depot stores across four Pennsylvania counties, including Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, and Philadelphia.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Caitlin Shortridge, with law enforcement working with multiple retailers to address organized retail crime.

Between May 18 and August 11, 2025, the suspects committed 38 thefts targeting high-value items such as pressure washers, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, chainsaws, and battery kits, walking out without paying at multiple stores.

Heard is being extradited from New Jersey and will be arraigned upon his return to Montgomery County, where he faces multiple felony charges including running a corrupt organization and conspiracy.

The investigation involved multiple agencies, including Montgomery County Detectives, Cheltenham and Plymouth Township Police, and Philadelphia’s Retail Theft Initiative.

The suspects, aged 32, 38, and 39, face multiple felony charges, and bail has been set at approximately $25,000 for Jackson and Greene, with preliminary hearings scheduled for late August.

The suspects resold stolen goods at below-market prices through porch sales and other methods, often selling in Philadelphia, which contributed to community impact and increased costs for consumers.
