In Sacramento County, a three-day, multi-agency crackdown called Operation Street Sweeper led by the Gang Suppression Unit netted more than 140 arrests and the seizure of 86 firearms, as well as a significant haul of illegal drugs and cash.

The operation focused on reducing gang violence, illegal firearms, narcotics activity, and human trafficking, and involved coordinated enforcement across multiple agencies.

A broad roster of participating agencies underscored the extensive interagency cooperation and collective effort to combat crime in the region.

Authorities dismantled clandestine drug labs during the operation, disrupting criminal networks and enhancing public safety.

The operation conducted 32 search warrants, over 200 vehicle stops, 58 field interviews, and more than 50 probation/parole searches as part of the crackdown.

More than 20 partner agencies collaborated on the operation, coordinating 32 search warrants and extensive field activities.

Three clandestine drug labs were dismantled, with seizures including over $500,000 in illicit cash and a range of drugs such as meth, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, marijuana, and stolen prescription medications.
