A South Jersey track and football coach, Joel Deanley Jr., 26, was arrested and charged by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office with three counts of second-degree sexual assault and three counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for a sexual relationship with a female high school student since June.

Investigators say the offenses involved Timber Creek High School in Gloucester Township, where Deanley served in multiple coaching roles and as a school aide.

Deanley held positions including head coach for boys and girls winter track, assistant football coach, and assistant girls track coach, in addition to being a school aide at Timber Creek High School.

Authorities have reached out to Black Horse Pike Regional School District for additional information.

One identified victim has been named, and investigators say there may be further allegations, with the investigation continuing if new information emerges.

No additional victims have been confirmed at this time, according to officials.

Timber Creek Regional School District has not publicly stated whether Deanley remains employed; district officials did not respond to inquiries about his employment status.

Deanley has been removed from all student-facing duties and barred from district property as the investigation proceeds.

The incident is centered on Timber Creek High School in Gloucester Township, with law enforcement agencies investigating the case.

Deanley previously attended Sterling High School and Rowan University.
