A new tailormade campus in Taylorsville delivers a comprehensive, family-centered continuum of pediatric behavioral health care not previously available in Utah, featuring a 24/7 Crisis Walk-In Center, an Observation Unit, two PHPs, an Intensive Outpatient Program, outpatient therapy, testing, medication management, a DBT program, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy rooms.

The campus extends a complete suite of services under one roof, including crisis stabilization, PHPs, IOP, therapy, assessments, medication management, DBT, and PCIT rooms to support families.

Leadership notes that the initiative aligns with Utah’s broader push to meet rising youth mental health needs, pointing to a 78% increase in behavioral health programs and a 40% rise in children served over the past five years.

The Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital Behavioral Health Taylorsville Campus marks its one-year anniversary since opening in September 2025, expanding access to pediatric behavioral health care for Utah children, teens, and families.
