TrojAI, a Canadian firm specializing in AI security, has raised $5.75 million in additional seed funding.

The company's platform is designed to protect AI models and applications by ensuring they meet security benchmarks and comply with privacy regulations.

Newly acquired funds will be channeled into product development, sales, marketing, and U.S. expansion, including opening a Boston office.

Investment was led by Flying Fish, with contributions from Build Ventures, Techstars, Alteryx Ventures, and Flybridge Capital Partners.

Lee Weiner, with a background at Rapid7, LogMeIn, Symantec, and Netegrity, joins TrojAI as the new CEO.
