Co-organized by the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia and the European Business Angels Network, the event promotes women's economic rights and business growth.

This EXPO serves as a vital platform, connecting women founders with mentors and investors to support their growth and success.

Selected from over 1,400 applicants, the participating entrepreneurs have undergone extensive bootcamps and mentorship to prepare for this significant opportunity.

Notable participants include Tini Mamuchashvili from Georgia, who will present on the main stage, along with special recognitions for Liubov Lysenko from Ukraine and Firouza Eshonova from Uzbekistan.

Olesea Vascan from Moldova emphasized the unique perspectives women bring to problem-solving, while Kseniia Kluban from Ukraine encouraged perseverance among new founders.

A panel discussion on 'Women in Startups and Venture Capital' featured Albania’s Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Delina Ibrahimaj, who addressed the barriers women face in accessing funding.

Minister Ibrahimaj asserted that empowering women in entrepreneurship is crucial for regional stability and competitiveness, promoting gender-balanced investment portfolios.

During the Capital Quest, these women will pitch innovative business ideas, including solutions for food waste and mental health applications utilizing neuroscience and VR.

Scheduled for July 4, 2025, the EXPO Capital Quest will take place at the EBAN Congress 2025 in Copenhagen, showcasing 15 women entrepreneurs from Europe and Central Asia.

Looking ahead, UN Women plans to continue advocating for women's entrepreneurship and fostering necessary partnerships to unlock investment opportunities.
