June 20, 2025
Campus Fund, a venture capital firm dedicated to supporting student and dropout-led startups, has announced the launch of its largest fund to date, a $100 million third fund.
Founded in 2020 by Richa Bajpai as a thesis project at London Business School, Campus Fund focuses on entrepreneurs who are currently in university, have dropped out, or graduated within the last three years.
The new fund will make initial investments ranging from Rs 1 crore to Rs 8 crore, with half of the fund earmarked for follow-on investments.
This initiative has garnered support from a diverse group of investors, including family offices, financial institutions, and notable individual investors like Kanwaljit Singh and Asha Jadeja Motwani.
Having already secured over 50% of its capital with the first close, Campus Fund has commenced its investment activities and has made two investments thus far.
The firm evaluates around 7,000 startups each year through a network of over 100 student scouts and aims to support up to 60 startups with this new fund over the next four years.
Campus Fund has a track record of investing in successful startups such as Digantara, Sama, EtherealX, and GreenGrahi, many of which have subsequently attracted further investments from major firms.
Richa Bajpai, who previously co-founded Goodera, has stated that supporting student entrepreneurs represents the most meaningful chapter of her career.
