Wadephul is on a diplomatic trip to Japan and Indonesia, meeting with officials and planning a speech at a peace foundation, viewing these countries as key partners in addressing issues related to Russia and China.

He stressed the importance of strengthening international rules and binding laws to counter China's actions, emphasizing that China's behavior threatens the principles of global coexistence and the rule of law.
