In four years, the museum has hosted 620 events and 224 educational programmes, spanning topics from artificial intelligence and sustainable cities to health, education, economy, technology, and the arts.

These activities have attracted diverse international audiences and high-level participants, highlighting the museum’s global reach.

The project traces its origins to a 2015 announcement, was established by Law No. 19 of 2015, and opened globally in 2022, cementing its place in the knowledge ecosystem.

During the World Governments Summit 2026, Dubai designated the Museum of the Future as the permanent home of the World Preservation Lab and BioVault, in collaboration with Colossal Biosciences, to advance biodiversity protection.

Architecturally, the museum rises 77 meters with a 1,024-panel façade featuring Arabic calligraphy, while sustainability underpins operations, including solar energy use and LEED Platinum certification in 2023.

As it nears five million visitors since its 2022 opening, the museum continues to grow as a global cultural destination.

In 2025, the venue hosted nine heads of state and 46 ministers, underscoring its role as a high-level international engagement hub.

Flagship initiatives include the Dubai Future Forum, Future Talks, and the Great Arab Minds initiative honoring 18 Arab scholars across three editions.
