A French model recruiter linked to Jeffrey Epstein, Daniel Siad, was found dead at his home in Colombes, near Paris, with an autopsy to determine the cause.

Siad appeared in the Epstein Files more than a thousand times and was alleged by authorities to have facilitated Epstein’s sex trafficking and abuse of young women.

France’s investigation into Epstein-related activity remains active, with a probe opened in February 2026 into organized human trafficking and conspiracy to commit a crime to identify all implicated individuals.

Paris prosecutors have noted that while Siad’s death ends his personal case, the broader Epstein network inquiry continues to pursue other involved parties.

Since the December 2025 Epstein file release, 24 women have surfaced as potential victims or witnesses, with 16 already questioned and eight more interviews planned.

The Procuradoria de Nanterre confirmed the inquiry into Siad’s death was opened the night the body was found.

French outlets reported that an investigation into Siad’s death is underway amid ongoing Epstein-related inquiries.

A victim who uses a pseudonym told the BBC that Siad had introduced her to Epstein.

Siad had previously defended his relationship with Epstein, expressing trust in him as a professional figure, while CNN found no evidence supporting Epstein’s claimed roles in modeling agencies or as a casting director.

The Paris prosecutor’s office said Siad’s death ends personal charges, but the Epstein-linked network investigation remains active to identify other responsible parties.
