Consumers are told to stop using the speakers immediately, unplug from power, and avoid repairs, opening, or disposal in ordinary waste; instead, they should complete an assessment form on Cambridge Audio’s website to learn next steps based on location, with a UK focus in the reporting.

The recall specifically targets the Cambridge Audio YOYO (M) portable Bluetooth speaker range due to a serious fire risk from the internal lithium-ion battery, which can overheat and undergo thermal runaway, potentially causing smoke, fire, and ejected battery material.
