In 2025, QC delivered more than 14,000 development projects totaling about QR 925 million, benefiting over 11 million people across education, healthcare, water and sanitation, and economic empowerment, while 391 humanitarian interventions reached nearly 10 million people at over QR 645 million.

QRCS allocated roughly QR 120.5 million for humanitarian response in 2025 and about QR 26 million for 2026, with a relief and development portfolio totaling QR 5.2 billion from 2015 to 2025 that has benefited over 94 million people in 63 countries.

In 2026, QC expanded its operations to 31 countries for humanitarian interventions (cost about QR 236 million reaching around 5.8 million people) and 44 countries for development projects (cost about QR 573 million reaching around 4.2 million people), spanning eight sectors including water, education, healthcare, and housing.

The actions align with the International Day of Charity and follow UN calls for philanthropy and resilience to build inclusive societies.

Geographic focus prioritizes Gaza, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, and other crises such as Afghanistan, Somalia, Bangladesh, and Lebanon, with the aim of rehabilitating communities and helping individuals resume normal life.

QC’s 2026–2030 strategy emphasizes impact, sustainability, results-based planning, SDG alignment, and smart specialisation to balance reach with quality and long-term outcomes.

QC, along with Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), is expanding relief and development in crises like Palestine, Sudan, and Syria, with a growing emphasis on addressing root causes and fostering self-reliance.

Qatar’s humanitarian strategy reflects a broader move toward resilience and sustainable impact, leveraging partnerships with governments, UN agencies, and local actors to build self-reliant communities.

QRCS notes a Continuous Intervention Chain from emergency relief through recovery to development, with Gaza interventions in 2025 totaling about USD 51 million, representing roughly 45.5% of that year’s expenditure.

QC’s Rofaqa program supported over 224,000 individuals in 2025, crossing 225,000 by mid-2025, with QC activities totaling about QR 2.1 billion in value and benefiting about 21 million people across around 70 countries.
