Omoway has introduced the Omo X, a groundbreaking electric scooter in Jakarta that can self-drive and be remotely controlled via a smartphone, sparking significant excitement.

The scooter boasts a large TFT display, intuitive controls, and high-quality components like Brembo brakes, emphasizing durability and performance.

Its Halo-Pilot system includes features such as adjustable cruise control, one-touch parking, and vehicle-to-vehicle communication, all enhancing safety and convenience through IoT integration.

Founded in 2024 by Todd He, Omoway is based in Singapore with R&D in Guangzhou and manufacturing in Jakarta, targeting Indonesia’s rapidly growing electric two-wheeler market, which increased by 447% in 2024.

Marketed as the world's first multiform motorcycle, the Omo X can transform quickly between a scooter, a motorcycle without a footrest, or a cargo vehicle, making it ideal for long-distance commuting in Indonesia.

The scooter incorporates advanced stabilization technology for balance at low speeds and can autonomously move from the garage to the user or charging station upon request.

Equipped with intelligent safety features such as environment monitoring cameras, collision warnings, automatic braking, and obstacle avoidance, all supported by AI and Big Data.

Development of the Omo X is expected to conclude by the end of 2025, with production beginning in Indonesia in 2026 at an estimated price of around 3,500 euros, followed by plans for global distribution.
