Tesla has launched its latest Full Self-Driving (FSD) software update, version 14.1.4, continuing its rapid release cycle with new versions approximately every three to four days, and expanding access to a broader user base.

This update, which builds on the significant improvements introduced in version 14, enhances urban navigation, lane behavior, merging, object avoidance, and speed management, supported by Tesla's advanced neural networks and Dojo supercomputer.

Tesla's rollout includes the largest deployment of FSD 14.1.3, now available to non-early access users on HW4-equipped Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X vehicles, starting from October 23, 2025.

Refined object avoidance allows Tesla vehicles to successfully swerve around hazards like fallen branches, animal carcasses, and other obstacles with smooth and effective maneuvers.

The update addresses previous issues with local road speeds, enabling vehicles to accelerate more smoothly and maintain appropriate speeds, reducing driver frustration.

Tesla remains attentive to regulatory and ethical considerations, expanding testing approvals and ensuring AI fairness and compliance with international standards amidst ongoing regulatory scrutiny.
